The name-brand grinder I bought last year was useless for my two small dogs and the "dust shield" was a joke, dust flew everywhere through the guide holes. Groomies is the opposite, quiet, simple, and the work light makes it way easier than trying to thread a wiggly nail into a tiny hole. I just do it outside now and the dust is a non-issue.

Nail care on a Labradoodle is non-negotiable and I've gone through a couple of grinders that either fell apart or felt like toys in my hand. Sammy has very sensitive feet and the Dremel I was using vibrated like a jackhammer, every session ended with her shut down and me sweating. Groomies is quieter, smoother, and her nails feel rounded instead of jagged when I'm done. Two notes for anyone with a fluffy dog: take the guard off for bigger nails, and trim the hair around the paws first so nothing tangles in the head.

A friend of ours is a certified groomer and she let us borrow her professional grinder, this one honestly holds its own. The LED light is a real help for staying away from the quick, and the noise is so low my dog actually walked over curious instead of bolting. My little pup has curved nails that angle toward his paws just enough that I kept pinching him with regular clippers, even the nail salons hit the same issue and brought out a grinder. i have full-on grooming PTSD from a clipping experience years ago when i went straight into the quick on a black nail, never wanted to put another dog through that, but with a new puppy at home i had to figure something out. day 1 i just let him see and hear the grinder, day 2 i buffed his front nails for a few seconds while he was sleepy on my lap, day 3 i got his back nails too. i'm going slow on purpose because i refuse to traumatize him, but for the first time nail trims don't feel like a war i'm about to lose.
